Day trip Inn Imst - Rietz
A whole day on the Inn, surrounded by fantastic nature.
On this day trip, we meet early in the morning at our base station in Ambach (located 2 km down the valley in Ötztal.) There we are equipped with optimal whitewater clothing and off we take a taxi towards Imst to our boarding point. After a safety briefing and training from our state-certified boat guides, the rafting day tour begins. The first 14 km will be spent on the beautiful Imst Gorge. Pass by the flood of pipes to the mouth of the Ötztaler Ache. From here, the rapids pile up and an exciting wave ride begins! The next 8 km are rather easy to complete, there are quieter sections of the Inn ahead, which invite you to go wild water swimming.
Surrounded by breathtaking nature, there are still sparkling and beautiful waves, such as the Silzer Welle. At a beautiful waterfront near a waterfall, we stop for lunch and relaxation. Eating from the campfire is the order of the day. Then it's off to the last 5 km feeling refreshed and rested.
In Rietz, at our departure point, we disembark after a total tour duration of 4-6 hours. Take a taxi back to our base. Hot showers and a sauna await us there. As a farewell, our state-certified rafting guides will present an experience certificate in Tyrolean style, with schnapps.
