Canadian Tour Inn Imster Gorge

The closest thing to white water — action guaranteed!

After a welcome and equipment with optimal whitewater clothing, we will take a taxi from our base station to Imst. With our 2-3 man Canadian inflatable boats, we start after a long period of schooling... and “get in the water with us!!!” Now it's off to the deeply cut and impressive Imst Gorge. The sound of the stream gets louder and after the bend we know why. The surge of pipe bridges is imminent. The first beautiful white water is in front of us. High waves with rolling rollers will delight any wild water sports enthusiast. After a short recovery period, the flood of photographers approaches us. We master 200 m of beautiful wave combinations before crossing the village of Roppen with its unique old wooden bridge.

If you feel like whitewater swimming, you can do it here, in lower waves. Before the mouth of the Ötztaler Ache, we are still treated to a magnificent view of the Acherkogel with its 3007 m. “Enough with Lustig” - from here it goes through Ötzschlag with Wildwasser III and on to chaos. All paddle strokes should be on this section and the small team should have become a team.

Passing the three large sweepers, we head towards the baffle wall. At this point, the river bends 90 degrees and so has its pitfalls. After this bend, the Inn loses its slope. From here, there is still plenty of room for fun and games before we disembark in Haiming. At our exit point, we toast the successful Imster Schlucht rafting tour before the taxi brings us back to the base.

Participants are accompanied either by a raft or by kayak instructors in their kayaks. A fantastic experience for sporty people!

At the end, you will receive a certificate from the boat driver of the whitewater rafting adventure in Imster Schlucht.
