Austria is a popular holiday destination, not only in winter, but also in summer. And especially in summer, for families.

What actually makes a family vacation stand out? It goes without saying that you spend time together. What they have in common means that parents and their children experience great things. There were often tears in front of our base when a smaller sibling had to stay behind and only part of the family could take part in our tours.

But we want the whole family to have a great adventure. That's why we took a closer look around our area. And we have discovered tours on which we can take children from the age of 7 and thus offer all family members a rafting or canyoning experience!

In our base, children and their parents are equipped with optimal whitewater clothing. Then it's off to the boarding point in Haiming. Before the boat “sets sail”, the state-certified boat driver explains to adults and children exactly how to paddle and what else is important. And it's off to the Inn. There are lighter rapids along the way, which the youngest children in particular have mastered with enthusiasm.

In between, there is a stop at a waterfall — a break from the game and time for refreshments with food from the campfire. The time until you get off behind Stams flies by.
